Boxing training is a powerful way to help motivate and build team spirit. We are currently working with PE staff at Wellington High school helping the students with team building, motivation and fitness. We will be posting videos soon. A big thanks to all the staff and youth, classes have been so much fun!

“Hey, my name’s Nick Brady. I walked into Wellington Central Boxing Club in late June 2010 at 6’5″, and a hair short of 160 kilos. I’ve been boxing now for 3 and a half months, and I’ve lost 20 kilo, with no signs of stopping. Not only do I now fit into clothing without my belly hanging out, I can run up stairs, I can walk without being short of breath.

I’ve tried a whole lot of sports, Rowing, Swimming, Rugby, Judo, Fencing, Soccer, the list goes on. I even joined a regular gym at one point. I’ve never done anything that’s as intense a workout as boxing. I couldn’t have done this on my own, I have to thank the coaches from Wellington Central Boxing Club for so much of my weight loss. I’ve lost a whole lot of weight, and found a fantastic sport. The people are friendly, the coaches know their stuff, and the workout is like no other.
