“Hey, my name’s Nick Brady. I walked into Wellington Central Boxing Club in late June 2010 at 6’5″, and a hair short of 160 kilos. I’ve been boxing now for 3 and a half months, and I’ve lost 20 kilo, with no signs of stopping. Not only do I now fit into clothing without my belly hanging out, I can run up stairs, I can walk without being short of breath.

I’ve tried a whole lot of sports, Rowing, Swimming, Rugby, Judo, Fencing, Soccer, the list goes on. I even joined a regular gym at one point. I’ve never done anything that’s as intense a workout as boxing. I couldn’t have done this on my own, I have to thank the coaches from Wellington Central Boxing Club for so much of my weight loss. I’ve lost a whole lot of weight, and found a fantastic sport. The people are friendly, the coaches know their stuff, and the workout is like no other.
